Teacher beats student to death

Durgapur (West Bengal): A teacher of Girl's High School in Andaal has been charged with beating her student to death.According to the sources, an ‘irritated' teacher hit Baabli Ghosh, a class five student with duster on her head for unknown reasons. The child succumbed to her injuries after she was taken to the hospital.Parents of the deceased child have lodged a complaint in this regard.
