  • Coelogyne pandurata is native to Borneo. 
  • This plant has large flattened ovoid pseudobulbs that can reach 7 inches in size. 
  • The two pleated broad somewhat stiff leaves are 16 to 20 inches in length. The flower spikes emerge at the same time new growths are developing. 
  • The spikes are 24 to 30 inches in length and bear 15 to25 3 to 4 inch flowers that are colored in green with very black markings in the lip.
  • Site: 50% or higher is ideal. This plant prefers low to medium light
  • Temperature: This plant likes intermediate to warm temps with winter nights not falling below 62° Fahrenheit and days being in the 70s as a minimum. Summer temps can be several degrees warmer.
  • Water: Water as the mix approaches dryness but do not allow the mix to become completely dry between watering
